The Seraphic Collection 

2026 

We created the Seraphic Collection for the Franciscan Festival, dedicated to the Franciscan spirit. It celebrates all of creation and, above all, the Creator. It is filled with playfulness and vibrant colors. The fish-shaped brooches draw inspiration from St. Francis, St. Clare, St. Agnes of Bohemia, and Francis's first brothers.

The name LAMAAR was created from the names of its designers: Leona A. Matějková and Andrea A. Rückschlossová—hence L A M + A A R. Symbolically, the name evokes the color blue, the sea, depth, and fish... for fish symbolize all living things. We are drawn to imagination, playfulness, vibrant colors, and humor—which explains all those wacky names :). We primarily use modern materials such as liquid glass and polymers, along with—above all—vibrant colors.
